ॐ श्री गुरुभ्यो नमः ।

ॐ महाकायं महाधीरं महासिद्धिवरप्रदम् ।
महादेवमुदं वन्दे महाविघ्नहविर्भुजम् ॥ 
I worship the great bodied one of great intelligence, the
giver of the boon of great success, the delight of Lord
Mahadeva, the consumer of great obstacles.  
वेदान्ताम्बुजभास्वरं परगुरुं शिष्यांसुभिर्मालितम्
    येनाहं विनिबोधितासुवचसा शास्त्राब्धिसंमन्थनात् ।
तं ज्ञानाम्बरवेष्टितं यतिवरं भूतिज्वरघ्नौषधम्
    शास्तारं कलये हृदा मम सदा स्वानन्दभद्रोदधिम् ॥ 
I always contemplate with the heart on my teacher, the
sun that unfolds the Vedanta lotus, the most exalted
of Gurus, garlanded by (a halo of radiant) beams in the
form of disciples, clad in the fabric of self-knowledge, the
best among sages, the medicine that kills the feverish
addiction to time-bound gains, the auspicious ocean of
self-joy, by whose words --emerging from the thorough
churning of the sea of scriptures-- I was well instructed.
