श्रीसुगन्धिकुन्तलाम्बास्तवराजः
सुखप्रदे नमत्ततेः सुबुद्धिलोकभाविते
सुधाकरार्भकोल्लसत्किरीटवर्यभासुरे ।
सुमेषुवैरिचित्तकञ्जवासरेट्प्रभावले
सुगन्धिकुन्तलाम्बिके प्रसीद सत्वरं मम ॥ १॥
सुखांशहीनदुष्टगोचरप्रसक्तचेतसो
निदाघभानुबद्धसौख्यतृष्णया प्रतप्यतः ।
हृदापि तावकं पदं कदापि न स्मरिष्यतः
सुगन्धिकुन्तलाम्बिके प्रसीद सत्वरं मम ॥ २॥
सुखालिदानदीक्षिते प्रणम्रलोकसन्ततेः
सुमोल्लसत्कचोज्ज्वले सुपर्वमानिनीस्तुते ।
सुरालिमौलिरत्नभाविराजिताङ्घ्रिपङ्कजे
सुगधिकुन्तलाम्बिके प्रसीद सत्वरं मम ॥ ३॥
सुताविशेषसंस्रवत्कृपे प्रणम्रसन्ततौ
सुरासुरादिवन्दिते सुरोत्तमैः समर्चिते ।
सुवाग्झरीप्रदानदक्षपादपद्मसन्नते
सुगन्धिकुन्तलाम्बिके प्रसीद सत्वरं मम ॥ ४॥
इति शृङ्गेरि श्रीजगद्गुरु श्रीसच्चिदानन्दशिवाभिनवनृसिंह-
भारतीस्वामिभिः विरचितः श्रीसुगन्धिकुन्तलाम्बास्तवराजः सम्पूर्णः ।
Meaning :
सुखप्रदे - O Giver of happiness
नमत्ततेः - to the rows of people who salute (you)!
सुबुद्धिलोक-भाविते - O One esteemed by wise people!
सुधाकर अर्भक उल्लसत् किरीट वर्य भासुरे - O One shining with the baby (crescent) moon on your excellent crown!
वासरेट्प्रभावले - O String of rays of the sun
सुमेषु वैरि चित्त कञ्ज - to the heart-lotus of Shiva (destroyer of Kaama who has flower-arrows)!
सुगन्धिकुन्तलाम्बिके - O Mother with fragrant tresses!
प्रसीद सत्वरं मम - Quickly be favourable to me. 1.
प्रसक्त चेतसो - (To me) whose heart is full of attachment,
दुष्टगोचर - available to evil (influences),
सुखांश हीन - with no trace of happiness,
प्रतप्यतः - (to me) who is tormented
सौख्य तृष्णया - by thirst for relief,
निदाघ भानु बद्ध - being captive in the summer sun,
कदापि न स्मरिष्यतः - (to me) who never thinks of
तावकं पदं - your feet
हृदापि - with (my) heart,
प्रसीद सत्वरं मम - quickly be favourable to me.
सुगन्धिकुन्तलाम्बिके - O Mother with fragrant tresses! 2.
सुखालिदानदीक्षिते - O One resolved to give all joys
प्रणम्र लोक सन्ततेः - to the rows of people who prostrate (before you)!
सुम उल्लसत् कच उज्ज्वले - O One resplendent with hair adorned with flowers!
सुपर्व मानिनी स्तुते - O One praised by the women of Devas!
सुरालि मौलिरत्न भा विराजित अङ्घ्रि पङ्कजे - O One whose feet-lotus are lit by the glow of the gems in the crowns of the rows of Devas(who salute you)!
सुगन्धिकुन्तलाम्बिके - O Mother with fragrant tresses!
प्रसीद सत्वरं मम - Quickly be favourable to me. 3.
सुत अविशेष संस्रवत् कृपे - O One whose mercy overflows equally like to one’s children,
प्रणम्र सन्ततौ - towards those who bow (to you)!
सुरासुरादि वन्दिते - O One saluted by Devas, Asuras and others!
सुरोत्तमैः समर्चिते - O One worshipped by the most eminent of Devas!
सुवाग् झरी प्रदान दक्ष पादपद्म सन्नते - O One, bowing at whose lotus-feet is very competent in giving eloquence like a river('s flow)!
सुगन्धिकुन्तलाम्बिके - O Mother with fragrant tresses!
प्रसीद सत्वरं मम - Quickly be favourable to me. 4.
