शालिवक्त्रपुरालय धन्वन्तरि स्तोत्रम्

भिषग्वर रमाकान्त शालिवक्त्रपुरालय । रागरोगादिभूतं मां पाहि धन्वन्तरे हरे ॥ १॥ शङ्खचक्रसुधाकुम्भजलुकाधर माधव । करुणाकर मामाशु पाहि धन्वन्तरे हरे ॥ २॥ अखिलाधार गोविन्द निखिलार्तिनिवारक । व्याकुलं मां महाविष्णो पाहि धन्वन्तरे हरे ॥ ३॥ श्यामवर्ण सदानन्द शालितुण्डपुरेश्वर । विपन्नं मां विश्वबन्धो पाहि धन्वन्तरे हरे ॥ ४॥ जनार्द्दन जगन्नाथ जलजाक्ष ज्वरापह । प्रणतार्द्र प्रपन्नं मां पाहि धन्वन्तरे हरे ॥ ५॥ सनातन गुणाराम सर्वामयकुलान्तक । रुजार्तं मां कृपाराशे पाहि धन्वन्तरे हरे ॥ ६॥ शान्त शालिमुखागार शारदेन्दुनिभानन । शर्मसागर निःस्वं मां पाहि धन्वन्तरे हरे ॥ ७॥ सुधाशनपते विश्वक्लेशनाशन केशव । प्रतप्तं मां सुधापाणे पाहि धन्वन्तरे हरे ॥ ८॥ वासुदेव हृषीकेश व्याधिजातविनाशक । वनमालिन् वराकं मां पाहि धन्वन्तरे हरे ॥ ९॥ नारायण दयासिन्धो नाथ शालिमुखालय । पद्मनाभ मुरारे मां पाहि धन्वन्तर हरे ॥ १०॥ रोगातुराणामभयप्रदायिन् दाक्षिण्यवार्धे भिषगीशमूर्ते । कल्याणराशे कमलापते मां धन्वन्तरे पाहि हरे मुरारे ॥ ११॥ क्षीराब्धिनाथ दरचक्रसुधाजलूका- धारिन् दयार्द्र शालिमुखालयेश । सर्वामयापह भिषग्वर सन्ततं मां धन्वन्तरे पाहि हरे मुरारे ॥ १२॥ इति शालिवक्त्रपुरालय धन्वन्तरि स्तोत्रं सम्पूर्णम् ।

सार्थम्

अथ धन्वन्तरिस्तोत्रम् । भिषग्वर रमाकान्त शालिवक्त्रपुरालय । रागरोगादिभूतं मां पाहि धन्वन्तरे हरे ॥ १॥ O great doctor (bhiṣag-vara), O husband (-kānta) of Lakṣmī (ramā-), O the one who has a temple (-ālaya) in the city of Nelluvaaya (śāli-vaktra-pura), the one who is stuck (bhūtaṃ) by attachments (rāga-) and diseases etc.(rogādi-), O Dhanvantari (dhanvantare), O Hari (hare), protect (pāhi) me (māṃ) ..1.. शङ्खचक्रसुधाकुम्भजलुकाधर माधव । करुणाकर मामाशु पाहि धन्वन्तरे हरे ॥ २॥ O the one who bears (-dhara) the conch (śaṅkha-), the disc (cakra-), the pot of (kumbha-) amruta or divine-nectar (sudhā-), the leech (jalukā-), O the husband of Lakṣmī (mādhava), O ruthful one (karuṇā-kara), O Dhanvantari (dhanvantare), O Hari (hare), immediately (āśu) protect (pāhi) me (māṃ) ..2.. अखिलाधार misery (ārti-), O Great Vishnu (mahā-viṣṇo), O Dhanvantari (dhanvantare), O Hari (hare), protect (pāhi) me (māṃ), the agitated one (vyākulaṃ) ..3.. श्यामवर्ण सदानन्द शालितुण्डपुरेश्वर । विपन्नं मां विश्वबन्धो पाहि धन्वन्तरे हरे ॥ ४॥ O the black-coloured one (śyāma-varṇa), O the always happy one (sadā-ānanda), O the resider of the city (-pureśvara) Nelluvaaya (śāli-tuṇḍa-), O the relative (-bandho) of the (whole) world (viśva-), O Dhanvantari (dhanvantare), O Hari (hare) protect (pāhi) me (māṃ), the afflicted one (vipannaṃ) ..4.. जनार्दन जगन्नाथ जलजाक्ष ज्वरापह । प्रणतार्द्र प्रपन्नं मां पाहि धन्वन्तरे हरे ॥ ५॥ O the protector of people (janārdana), O the ruler (-nātha) of the world (jagat-), O the lotus-like-eyed one (jalaja-akṣa), O the remover (-apaha) of fever (jvara-), O the one who is tender (ārdra) towards those who pray (praṇata-), O Dhanvantari (dhanvantare), O Hari (hare) protect (pāhi) me (māṃ), the one who is seeking shelter (prapannaṃ) ..5.. सनातन गुणाराम सर्वामयकुलान्तक । रुजार्तं मां कृपाराशे पाहि धन्वन्तरे हरे ॥ ६॥ O the eternal one (sanātana), O the abode (-ārāma) of great qualities (guṇa-), the destroyer (-antaka) of the clans (-kula-) of all the (-ānana) like that of (-nibha-) the moon (-indu-) of the śarat month (śārada-), O the ocean (-sāgara) of delight (śarma-), O Dhanvantari (dhanvantare), O Hari (hare) protect (pāhi) me (māṃ), the poor one (niḥsvaṃ) ..7.. सुधाशनपते विश्वक्लेशनाशन केशव । प्रतप्तं मां सुधापाणे पाहि धन्वन्तरे हरे ॥ ८॥ O the lord of (-pate) divine-nectar-food (sudhā-aśana-), O the destroyer (-nāśana) of afflictions (-kleśa) of the whole world (viśva-), O the one who killed the demon named keśī (keśava), O the one who has divine-nectar (sudhā-) in the hands (pāṇe), O Dhanvantari (dhanvantare), O Hari (hare) protect (pāhi) me (māṃ) the tormented one (prataptaṃ) ..8.. वासुदेव हृषीकेश व्याधिजातविनाशक । वनमालिन् वराकं मां पाहि धन्वन्तरे हरे ॥ ९॥ O the son of Vasudeva (vāsu-deva), O the master of the sensory organs (hṛṣīkeśa), O the destroyer (vināśaka) of the disease-produed (vyādhi-jāta) effects, O the one wearing the garland made of forest-flowers (vana-mālin), O Dhanvantari (dhanvantare), O Hari (hare) protect (pāhi) me (māṃ), the unfortunate one (varākaṃ) ..9.. नारायण दयासिन्धो नाथ शालिमुखालय । पद्मनाभ मुरारे मां पाहि धन्वन्तरे हरे ॥ १०॥ O the one whose abode is water (nārāyaṇa), O the ocean (-sindho) of grace (dayā-), O the one who bears lotus (padma-) in the navel (-nābha), O master (nātha), O the resider (-ālaya) of the Nelluvaaya (śāli-mukha-), O the enemy of the demon called Mura (murāre), O Dhanvantari (dhanvantare), O Hari (hare) protect (pāhi) me (māṃ) ..10.. रोगातुराणामभयप्रदायिन् दाक्षिण्यवार्धे भिषगीशमूर्ते । कल्याणराशे कमलापते मां धन्वन्तरे पाहि हरे मुरारे ॥ ११॥ O the provider (-pradāyin) of non-fear (abhaya-) for those uneasy (-āturāṇām) by disease (roga-), O the ocean (vārdhe) of kindness (dākṣiṇya-), O doctor (bhiṣag), O the form of God (īśa-mūrte), O the collection (-rāśe) of auspiciousness (kalyāṇa-), O the husband (-pate) of Lakṣmī (kamalā-), O Dhanvantari (dhanvantare), O Hari (hare) O the killer of the demon named Mura (murāre) protect (pāhi) me (māṃ). ..11.. क्षीराब्धिनाथ दरचक्रसुधाजलूका- धारिन् दयार्द्र वरशालिमुखालयेश । सर्वामयापह भिषग्वर सन्ततं मां धन्वन्तरे वरद पाहि हरे मुरारे ॥ १२॥ O the ruler (-nātha) of the milk-ocean (kṣīrābdhi-), O the bearer (-dhārin) of conch (dara-), disc (cakra-) divine-nectar (sudhā-) and the leech (jalūkā-), O the tender (-ārdra) by kindness (dayā-), O the resider of the great (vara-) temple (-ālayeśa) of the Nelluvaya (śāli-mukha-), O the repeller (-apaha) of all (sarva-) diseases (-āmaya-), O the best (-vara) doctor (bhiṣag-), O giver of boons (varada), O the killer of the demon named Mura (murāre),
