Subject: Request for Link addition to Online Marathi Wikipedia
You may be aware that Wikipedia is an international Web-based
free-content encyclopedia. It exists as a wiki, a website that allows
visitors to edit its content; the word Wikipedia itself is a portmanteau
of wiki and encyclopedia. Wikipedia is written collaboratively by
volunteers, allowing articles to be changed by anyone with access to the
website.
The marathi version of wikipwdia http://mr.wikipedia.org/wiki/ is also
developing fast and already has more than 4000 articles in it. And
marathi has maximum number of articles than any other indian language.
Marahi is on number 60of 229 languages in wikipedia.
To maintan this wealth of informtion in Marathi and build it further we
seek participation for all Marathi speaking people in this venture.
