##protector of the downtrodden, with the form of a monkey, beautiful,
encompassing the world, killer of rulers of the nether worlds, with
great form anointed with vermilion ##
lokanAthA jagannAthA prANanAthA purAtanA .
puNyava.ntA puNyashIlA pAvanA paritoShakA .. 4..
##protector of the  people, lord of the world, ruler of life, ancient
one, holy, with pious nature, purifier, pleaser ##
dhvajA.nge.n uchalI bAho Aveshe loTalA puDhe.n .
kALAgnI kALarudrAgnI dekhatA kA.npatI bhaye .. 5..
##Lifting flags with his arms he thrusts forwards, like the eternal
fire, the terrible destructive fire; all who see him tremble with
fear.##

netrAgnI chAlilyA jvALA bhrakuTI tAThilyA baLe .. 6..
##As if he does not fit in the world, he gnashes his teeth, with
flames coming from his eyes, his eyebrows stretched with intensity ##

suvarNakaTikAsoTI gha.nTA ki.nkiNi nAgarA .. 7..
##with his upturned tail above his head, wearing neat crown and
earrings, a golden belt around his waist, with elegant bells ##
ThakAre parvatA+aisA neTakA saDapAtaLU .
chapaLA.nga pAhatA.n moThe mahAvidyullateparI .. 8..
##stands tall like a mountain, yet well shaped and slender, his  hugh
body agile like a big lightening bolt ##
koTichyA koTi uDDANe jhepAve uttarekaDe .
ma.ndAdrIsArikhA droNU krodhe utpATilA baLe .. 9..
##with millions of jumps he advanced to North, he lifted in anger the
Drona mountain like  mountain  Meru ##
ANilA mAgutI nelA AlA gelA manogatI .
manAsI TAkile.n mAge gatIsI tuLaNA nase .. 10..
##he brought it in and took it back, both with speed like mind;
verily he surpassed the speed of mind, his speed has no comparison,##
aNUpAsoni brahmA.nDAyevaDhA hota jAtase .
tayAsI tuLaNA koThe.n merumA.ndAra dhAkuTe.n .. 11..
##from a tiny speck he can grow big like the world, what can compare
to him, even the meru mountain is tiny in comparison,##
brahmA.nDAbho.nvate veDhe vajrapuchChe.n karU.n shake .
tayAsI tULaNA kaichI brahmA.nDI pAhatA nase .. 12..
##he can wrap loops around the world with his strong tail, indeed no
comparison to him can be seen in this world##
Arakta dekhile DoLA grAsile sUryama.nDaLA .
vADhatA.n vADhatA.n vADhe bhedile shUnyama.nDaLA .. 13..
##having seen the red disc of son he gobbled it up, he grows and
grows so much, he tears into the empty space ##
dhanadhAnya pashuvR^iddhi putrapautra samagrahI .
pAvatI rUpavidyAdI stotrapAThe karUniyA .. 14..
##By reciting this stotra, people acquire prosperity of wealth, food
and live stalk, along with sons and grandsons, also beauty and
knowledge etc.##

##By viewing his great form, all problems with ghosts and other nasty
spirits and diseases are reduced and destroyed along with all other
