पल्लवी - चन्द्रचूड शिवशङ्कर पार्वतीरमणा निनगे नमो नमो ॥ अनुपल्लवी - सुन्दरतर (सुन्दरमृगधर) पिनाकधर हर (पिनाकधनुकर) गङ्गाधर गजचर्माम्बरधर ॥ चरणम् - धरेगे दक्षिण कावेरी कुम्भपुरवासनु नीने करदलि वीणेय गानव माडुव उरगभूषणनु नीने कोरळोळु भस्म रुद्राक्षिय धरिसिद परम वैष्णवनु नीने गरुडगमन नम्म पुरन्दर विट्ठलन प्राणप्रियनु नीने ॥ Notes: The Original Composition is in Kannaḍa, by Śrī Purandara Dāsa a.k.a Purandara Viṭṭhala (Śrīnivāsa Nāyaka) and has been adapted in movies like Śrī Purandara Dāsaru (1967). Shorter versions extracted from the Original Composition with some variations (given on this webpage) have been rendered by several artists, especially in Raga Darabārī Kānaḍā, and adapted in some recent movie(s).
