श्रीलक्ष्मीनृसिंहस्तोत्रम्

ॐ श्रीरामजयम् । ॐ सद्गुरुश्रीत्यागराजस्वामिने नमो नमः । ॐ नारसिंहाय विद्महे । हरिणीपाय धीमहि । तन्नो हरिः प्रचोदयात् ॥ नमः श्रीनारसिंहाय नमो हैमालयाय च । नमो ज्योतिस्स्वरूपाय नमः श्रीविष्णवे नमः ॥ १॥ नमो ज्योतिर्मठस्थाय स्वयम्भूयोगमूर्तये । योगासन्नसुनिष्ठाय नृसिंहाय नमो नमः ॥ २॥ प्रशान्तमन्दिरस्थाय शालग्रामशिलाय च । तपोवर्धनरूपाय नृसिंहाय नमो नमः ॥ ३॥ शैलावृतसुगेहाय शैलमध्यप्रशान्तये । शैलगङ्गासुमालाय नृसिंहाय नमो नमः ॥ ४॥ शैलोत्तुङ्गविराजाय शैलसारगृहाय च । शैलराजाधिराजाय नृसिंहाय नमो नमः ॥ ५॥ आचार्यशङ्करारम्यपूजागृहनिवासिने । ध्यानयोगप्रतिष्ठाय ज्ञानदाय नमो नमः ॥ ६॥ करावलम्बरक्षाय करालभवतारिणे । तपोहिम्याधिरोपाय सदानन्दाय ते नमः ॥ ७॥ आचार्यत्यागराजस्वगेयनाटकगीतये । शिष्यापुष्पाहिमागीतगद्यामोदाय ते नमः ॥ ८॥ नमो लक्ष्मीनृसिंहाय नमोऽभयवराय च । नमो मोक्षप्रदात्रे च नम ओं ब्रह्मणे नमः ॥ ९॥ मङ्गलं नारसिंहाय मङ्गलायनमूर्तये । मायाम्बुदसमीराय मासमेताय मङ्गलम् ॥ १०॥ इति सद्गुरुश्रीत्यागराजस्वामिनः शिष्यया भक्तया पुष्पया कृतं श्रीलक्ष्मीनृसिंहस्तोत्रं गुरौ समर्पितम् । ॐ शुभमस्तु । This Stotram is on Lord Lakshmi Narasimha of Jyotirmath (Joshimath) - en route Badrinath. This temple is said to he housed in the place where Adi Shankaracharya stayed while in Jyotirmath. The Sanctum Sanctorum is said to be the Puja Kutira of the Acharya. The Murti is a Saligrama Sila in sitting yoga posture, said to be installed by Adi Shankara. Sloka 7 refers to an episode given in the introduction to the author's book Himalaya Gadyam. In shloka 8, the first line refers to Sadguru Tyagabrahmam's musical opera Prahlada Bhakti Vijayam. Second line refers to Himalaya Gadyam.
