The following files of Purana Subject Index are generated for everyone's personal use.
They are prepared by Vipin Kumar, Radha Gupta, and Suman Agrawal, compiled over the period ranging in decades, and with the blessings and guidance of their teachers, scholars, and family. Most of the entries, explanation, and articles are written in Hindi.
Shri Vipinji was a doyen in the Sanskrit community, an eminent scholar and a humble person. His contribution through the indexing of subject matters from the different scriptures with references from the Purāṇas, the Vedas, the epic of Mahābhārata, etc. with broad commentaries is a sprawling work that will be useful to interested readers for generations to come. Through his continuous efforts over a lifetime, the said indexed content, was arranged in a cohesive manner. His constant search to find the esoteric interpretations of ancient texts and present the same will serve as a source of inspiration to us. He will continue to live through his extensive works.
Some details and background of the project are presented in bhUmikA which will show nobility, scholarly pursuit, and humble attitude of the Balveer Singh (father) family. Without any personal glorification intended, the authors Vipin Kumar, Radha Gupta, and Suman Agrawal have their own copyrights for these files and work to prevent any mis-use found in internet/online world. The files should not be copied for commercial use and for reposting on other sites which are engaged in personal glorification or manipulation for hits/monetization or with advertisements or other ways. |
