Welcome to the Sanskrit Subhaashhita Sangraha
- A collection of wise sayings harvested from the vast ocean of wisdom in the Sanskrit literature.

  • Sanskrit वेदसूक्तिमाला VedasuktimAlA, a collection of good-saying from Samhita, Brahmana, Aranyaka, Upanishad with Hindi and English translation. Compiled by Dharmendrakumar Simhadeva and Suryanarayan Bhatt. It is prepared as a textbook for the Center for the Education of Conversational Sanskrit, "व्यावहारिक-संस्कृत-शिक्षण-केन्द्राणां" पाठ्य-पुस्तक.

  • UGC Major Research Project, Sanskrit Moral (Niti) Literature : Its Relevance, संस्कृतनीतिसाहित्यम् : तत्प्रासङ्गिकत्वञ्च. Principal Investogator Prof T.V.Raghavacharyulu, Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha(Deemed University)TIRUPATI, 2010. After a long table of contents, main portion starts on page 70 with well written Introduction.

  • सुभाषित व्याकरण Subhashit Grammar ( SubhAshita VyAkaraNa) Series : The following series contains about 50 subhAshitas in each PDF. Each Sanskrit SubhAshit is explained with its source, its Anvay, English translation of the verse, Sanskrit grammar of each word (noun, gender, case, adjective, verb, tense, etc) and its English meaning.

    The SubhAshitas are compiled by Kishore Nayak and edited by Padmakar Gangatirkar (author of Tying the Perfect Knot: A Practical Guide to Beautiful Hindu Weddings). Both of them have also written a book on Chanakya Niti, Cāṇakya Nīti (Saṃskṛta Verses, Grammar & Meaning), चाणक्य नीति (सुभाषित, व्याकरण, अर्थ) (The book is available at amazon in kindle and print-paperback format.)

  • A collection of 147+ सुभाषितानि / श्लोकाः with very detailed analysis by Shripad L. Abhyankar. In the YouTube playlist Learning Sanskrit by verses there are 80+ videos. It is presented in a kind of a षडङ्ग-format for studying any Sanskrit verse by पदच्छेदाः, वाक्यांशशः, विश्लेषणम्, शब्दाभ्यासाः (of course including व्याकरणम्), अन्वयार्थाः something like कल्पः what the basic thought is in the verse, छन्दोऽभ्यासः, स्वाध्यायाः something like ज्योतिष् what light of knowledge one gets from the verse. In the videos, there is the seventh अङ्गम् शिक्षा (ie उच्चारणम्) . This follows the format of study of गीता, as there are now 19 PDFs at https://archive.org/details/@sl_abhyankar.
