Sanskrit Documents
The following texts are arranged in Devanagari sequence whenever possible. See File Formats for the legend. The documents are presented in combined manner in allfilelist and in allfilelistpdf for PDF format.
Warning: If you are viewing the SANS98 | TRNS98 files, in your browser, select View|Encoding|Western European which will improve the display. However, you may miss the kta conjunt e.g. suukta. That is a problem with combination of font, browsers, and windows operating system. To avoid the problem, get the TXT98 text, copy paste or save/open in Itranslator and see if you get good display. Taking the output in Word may or may not work. The newer Itranslator2003 supports Unicode display but you will need to regenerate the output.
Short texts with Vedic accents
The following suuktas and texts have Vedic accent marks or svaras
generated using
Itranslator98.
Please download and install the latest font sets from this site.
A current project involves encoding additional texts with Vedic accents.
They are listed here.

For additional information, the Unicode Standard 4.0 (2003) does not support accented
Vedic texts.
Only two Vedic accents were defined by the Unicode consortium, whereas
approximate 50
Vedic accents/characters/svaras would be required for encoding the various
Vedic texts. See Vedic Code Set (vedic.pdf) in http://tdil.mit.gov.in/pchangeuni.htm
and 29 Samaveda accents listed in http://www.sanskritweb.de/sans99sv.pdf.
